An Update for Polish CASPs: Revised Reporting Deadline Announced by GIIF

The General Inspector of Financial Information (GIIF) in Poland has announced today a change regarding the reporting obligations for Crypto Asset Service Providers (CASPs). Initial reporting relates to the fourth quarter of 2023 and had been initially set for January 18, 2024. The new deadline to submit a report covering this period is now extended - but only by 2 days, that is to January 22, 2024, when the reporting window should be closed. It is not clear whether it will still be possible to report after this date, so CASPs should speed up their activities related to registration with the GIIF IT system and data gathering.

Reporting can commence from the coming Monday.
